American companies urged to invest in Ukraine now as the massive reconstruction and rebuilding initiative takes place.
Andy Hunder, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, urges U.S. companies to start investing in the country right now to rebuild its infrastructure after the war is over. The invasion caused a level of devastation and distraction not seen in Europe since World War II. “The Department of Commerce has been quite positive and vocal on this, saying ‘let’s not wait six months or a number of months once we get a stop to the war, let’s start preparing companies now.’”
